Digital exhibition Almost There

Art from the British Council’s own collection as well as by artists from Georgia, Turkey and Ukraine are available for your online viewing at our digital exhibition Almost There. The exhibition commentary has been translated into a range of languages including signing. You’ll find it at the link.

Learn about the culture of the United Kingdom via video

The British Council’s own online platform The English Channel offers a series of short videos on UK lifestyles, film and music equipped with interactive tools that allow you to improve your English while learning about UK culture. Give it a click!

Selector Radio – your provider for new British music

Sundays at 18:00 on UA: Radio Promin offers the best in new British music on the British Council’s world-famous Selector Radio show, hosted in Ukraine by Victoria Polchenko. As an alternative, tune into the original online British version of the show hosted by London DJ Jamz Supernova. Links are on our website!

Trespassers Will Be Detected? exhibition now on Instagram

The concluding exhibition of the British Council’s 2020 SWAP UK/UKRAINE art residency programme has moved from art galleries in Dnipro to the Internet. Follow our Instagram account to see the works created by 10 artists from the UK and Ukraine.

Free IELTS test preparation webinar

The current period of quarantine provides an excellent opportunity to familiarise yourself with the IELTS Test. Register now for our free IELTS preparation webinars to be held this April.

Virtual IELTS test preparation courses

Aptis test measures teenage student English levels

There’s now an independent British Council test available, designed to help school students get certification of their English skills, which is recognised by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for the purposes of the State Exams (DPA) at grade 9.
